for a sea captain and is greatly influenced by the colonial style.
Its large, sunny reception rooms and wide veranda, from which you can
take in Diana’s pool
on the River Stinchar, are a delight, and both upstairs twin rooms
look south over the river towards the sea. Recently modernised, Windyknowe
is beautifully decorated and furnished and will appeal to fishing lovers
as well as holidaymakers wishing to discover the unspoilt beauty of
the district of Carrick and the dramatic south Ayrshire coastline.

Activities:
Salmon fishing (fly only) on the River Stinchar may be available by separate arrangement. Housekeeping can usually be arranged at extra cost.
